I have been working with Mr. Sneed for over a decade. All the way back to the MySpace days. We met online back in 2008 and collaborated on lots of projects which eventually led to the creation of the Kinfoke movement. He produced and was featured on the original Boss of the Stix and Buckin' on 'Em on the American Made album. He was also a part of the well-known underground album called Kinfoke.
Now, over a decade later, Sneed and I continue to work together and communicate on a daily basis. One day he hit me up and asked how I felt about doing a cypher. It was something he had dreamed of doing and asked for my help to make it happen. The competition came together smoothly. It was just like our work together back in the day. From the structuring of the record, to the development of the artwork, all the way to the rollout with the awesome help from our team at CmdShift, doing this cypher with Sneed has been an amazing learning experience.
We were thrilled to have so many entries, as well as overwhelmed by the responsibility of having to choose a winner. We decided to have an anonymous judge make the final call because it was just too tough for Sneed or me to pick. We were pleased with the outcome and we are already so excited for Episode II! -SMO
